TWAA Naturals’ Peppermint Scalp Elixir Review & Giveaway!

I’ve been wearing my hair in kinky twists for the past month and a half for a cute and easy springtime protective style.  It’s always nice to let my hair rest and my scalp “breathe!” While this resting period is great, I have to be mindful and diligent in taking care of my scalp and moisturizing my hair to avoid unnecessary breakage and damage and to keep my sensitive scalp at bay.  I typically do not suffer from extreme dry scalp (thanks to all the oils and butters in my regimen) but any type of extensions in my hair can easily cause mild to moderate irritation.

So of course when Tamara, owner of TWAA Naturals contacted me, I was excited to try out her Peppermint Seed to Heal Scalp Elixir.  The elixir is her #1 seller and it works in a multitude of ways to invigorate and soothe the scalp.  It is infused with peppermint, which has antimicrobial properties and gives that cool, relieving sensation.  It is also infused with some of my favorite oils like lavender, olive, avocado, and tea tree.  I have used it in my deep conditioning routine and as a hot oil treatment. However, I primarily use it as a scalp oil every few days to keep it nice and calmed. I L-O-V-E using it for scalp massages for both myself and hubby who loves it too!

I have found the oil to be light without greasy buildup which is great with protective styles.  It also leaves a nice peppermint fragrance that lingers some but doesn’t overpower your body butter and fragrance scents.  If you’ve been following me for any amount of time, you know that I absolutely support entrepreneurs and artisan brands and TWAA Naturals gets my nod and 2 thumbs up! Tamara is a lovely naturalista, responds quickly to correspondences and packs the oil to prevent leaks and spills.  Because of my wonderful experience with the elixir, I can’t wait to try out some of the other products in her line.

So, I’m sure you’d like to try it out too, right? Great news! TWAA Naturals is sponsoring a giveaway to one lucky winner to try the Peppermint Seed to Heal Scalp Elixir.  Enter the giveaway below today to try it out!! Also be sure to check her out online!
