People may not understand your dreams, your decisions, your plans, or your vision. And that’s ok because oftentimes they just can’t “see” it because it’s invisible to them.
“Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to others.” -Jonathan Swift
It’s ok that they don’t see it, understand it or may even misunderstand it or care at all. What’s important is that you see it and keep pressing towards it. At times, it may be discouraging because nothing seems to line up with your vision. It can feel hard, frustrating and even impossible. There are circumstances, injustices, heartaches, and even what seems to be road blocks. I have experienced this so many times. I’m actually experiencing this now in a few situations.
It’s not always easy allowing people into my “space,” especially in light of the fact that there is always something going on…people are hurting, easily offended, harsh, critical, and negative. But that is exactly why I chose to share my life–to be a little bit of sunshine on someone’s cloudy day, offering encouragement and cyber reminders that you are loved, cherished…accepted.
So, it makes it all worth it and helps me remember that my purpose has purpose for those I influence in one way or another.
So to you I say, remember that it’s all a part of your journey. It’s all for your good and for the good of others, even when it doesn’t feel like it. It’s preparing you for more than even you can see…for the greatness in you.
Don’t give up.
Don’t shrink back.
Stand against all odds.
Because nothing is in vain.

“And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose.” -Romans 8:28 (AMP)
